WINTER SOLSTICE SOUND BATH with GONG
Overview
A wonderful "sonic massage" for body and spirit, and an excellent peaceful re-set for mind and heart.
In this GONG BATH on the WINTER SOLSTICE, focus will be on:
- Deep therapeutic relaxation
- Releasing mental stress and tension, along with whatever is no longer serving
- Finding calm and clarity
+++
WHAT TO EXPECT:
No movement required, just bring a mat, eye mask, light blanket and pillow, and let the specially crafted sound journey take you away into a supportive, healing space.
+++
BENEFICIAL FOR: Stress, anxiety, insomnia, focus and clarity, hormone balancing, racing thoughts or “monkey mind”, muscle and joint pain.
Note: If lying on the floor is difficult, just let me know in advance and a chair will be provided. If you are in your first trimester of pregnancy (congratulations!) and please wait to join us until your second trimester.
Focus for this session: “Flow” is that beautiful state of fluidity and connectivity between body and mind where both function at their best and as they are designed to. To get there, one needs to “stop thinking.” Time feels like it has slowed down. Stress hormones leave your system. They are replaced by feel-good neurochemicals.
Venue: the lovely, historic ETNA Community Centre in beautiful St Margarets, just over the bridge from Richmond. Free parking in the building's lot.
ETNA Community Centre is within easy walking distance of St Margaret’s Station, and 5 bus stops from Richmond Station (frequent service).
Bus stop Poplar Court is just around the corner on Richmond / St Margarets Road.
