Winter tree identification
Sat 9 December 2017, 10:30 – 13:00 GMT
Blackdown Hills Natural Futures team will be explaining how to identify a range of tree species even after they've dropped their leaves.
The first part of the event will be spent around a campfire learning to identify a wide range of tree species from twigs collected in the local area. We will then take a walk around the woods to identify trees from bark and tree shape, and explore woodland ecology more broadly.
Refreshments provided. Please wear stout footwear and warm wet-weather clothing.
Free. Booking essential.
