Age UK London is running a campaign entitled " Now more than ever - get your winter vaccines" supporting and empowering older Londoners to make informed decisions about the free Winter Vaccines (Covid booster and flu jab). Vaccine take up across Greater London remains the lowest across the country and in some areas does not meet World Health Organisation standards.

Join us at our upcoming online seminar taking place THURSDAY 10th FEBRUARY and will run from 11am to 12.30pm. Each attendee will have an opportunity to have their questions and concerns answered.

We are delighted to have as our guest speakers: Dr Tehseen Khan, the Senior Clinical Advisor to the London Covid-19 vaccination programme as well as also being a practicing GP in Hackney. We also have Dr Leonora Weil from the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities .

The Conference will also look at addressing barriers to vaccine take up and promote positive messaging as to the benefits of vaccines as well as challenging common myths.

Age UK London have producing dedicated resources and materials aimed at older Londoners for distribution in key target low uptake areas and will provide the attending groups and organisations with robust information to spread the message across London - including through local events and information sessions.
