It is a 21.3k Half Marathon Walk in London from The Thames Barrier (new Charlton side) to end at the London Eye, for Us in a Bus employees, Trustees, friends and family, corporate and stakeholder friends and all, walking, talking and building connections! It will be held Saturday 31st January, starting at 10.30 am. There is also the option to do a quarter marathon distance and end at Rotherhithe, the halfway point.

A safe, well-organised, walk that a wide range of people can participate in to raise much needed funds for Us in a Bus, so that we can continue to do the brilliant work that we do supporting people with profound and multiple disabilities and complex needs.

Frequently asked questions

Is the location accessible by public transport?

Yes, the start point is close to Charlton Station. The finish point is close to Waterloo station and if only doing half of the walk Rotherhithe Station is only a short distance.

Do I have to complete the whole 21.3k?

No, there is the option to finish the walk at the halfway point which is close to Rotherhithe and Canada Water Overground train service.

Do I need to bring a packed lunch?

We would recommend bringing your own drinks, snacks, and food, but we aim to stop somewhere where food and drinks can be purchased at the halfway point.
