Description

In Motion Theatre Company presents Winter Words, a new writing festival presenting an alternative theatre offering over the Christmas season.

Embracing the pub theatre atmosphere, Winter Words will present new writing at various stages of development in the Wee Dram.

Book your ticket for one or all of the events below, grab a pint and enjoy new writing by Scottish talent!

Running from Sunday 11th - Wednesday 14th December at DRAM! Glasgow, Winter Words will feature:

Sunday 11th December, 17:00 - 19:00
Staged readings of four extracts from new plays in development, directed by Jordan Blackwood and performed by professional actors:

'Potluck' by Rachel Rankin
'The Way, The Truth and The Life' by Mike O'Donnell
'Ten Things To Do Before You Die' by Dani Heron
'One More Round' by Kirsty Strain

Monday 12th December, 19:30 - 22:00
A double-bill of new writing, featuring rehearsed readings of Julie Tsang's 'Pulse' and Jennifer Adam's 'The House that Melts with the Rain'.

Tuesday 13th December, 19:30 - 22:00
A double-bil of new writing, featuring rehearsed readings of Eve Nicol's 'There is a light that never goes out and it's called Hope' and David Neville's 'Lifers'.

Wednesday 14th December, 19:30 - 22:00
A double-bill of new work from the In Motion TC team - 'Another Sad Love Song?' by Lisa Nicoll and 'The Cage' by Daniel Cameron, both directed by Jordan Blackwood.
