The John Hewitt Society is offering a weekend residential writing workshop on 21st & 22nd January 2017 in the Londonderry Arms Hotel, Carnlough.
The workshop will focus on prose fiction and life writing and is aimed at writers who consider themselves at experienced beginner stage.
Participants will submit written work, such as a chapter of a novel or short story, in advance of the workshop for detailed critical review by the other participants and the workshop facilitator.
Numbers will be kept low to ensure that there is sufficient time for each manuscript to be reviewed thoroughly.
The workshop will be facilitated by Martin Tyrrell, a published and prize winning author with an MA degree from Lancaster University’s International Creative Writing Programme.
The workshop will cost £155 for tuition, with meals and accommodation available to book separately.
*Discounted to £99 for bookings before 14th December 2016.*
