Winton Castle Garden Open Day

Save the date! Winton Castle’s Garden Open Day will be held on Sunday, 29th March 2026 from 12:30pm to 4.00 pm.

See the castle grounds awash with spring flowers in the walled & terraced gardens, explore the vibrant colours down by the Loch, all open under Scotland's Garden Scheme- a charity that Winton have been delighted to support since its inception 90 years ago when funds were originally raised to contribute to the training of Queen's nurses, now District nurses. We are also supporting Winton's chosen charity East Lothian Food Bank.

Castle tour tickets are also available on the door on the day, but we highly recommend booking tour tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.

Garden tours are free of charge and you can sign up for one of these tours at the door on the day. Garden tour times are 1pm, 2pm and 3pm with our head gardener.
