What size business is this event suitable for?

Sole traders, small business owners, entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, business owners from under-represented groups, small social enterprises, small charities are the sizes of businesses who may benefit most from this event.

Question 4

What happens if I've booked onto an event but can't attend?

Accepted Answer

There are no refunds for this event but don't worry. 
You can transfer onto a future event  before your booked event date. 
You'll only need to pay any difference in ticket cost.

What if I'm nervous about pitching?

Accepted Answer

No worries! Submit your 45 second bio and/or pitch (Word or PDF) by midday on the working day before the event and we'll read out your pitch for you.

Question 6

Do I have to have my camera and/or microphone on?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. You can turn your camera and microphone on/off for all/part/some of the event; it's completely up to you.

Question 7

What if I can't attend for the whole event?

Accepted Answer

That's ok. You're welcome to join for all, part or dip in/out of the session as you're able to. The joining link will remain open for the whole event.

Question 8

Can I join an event if I'm only able to have the pitches and Q&A on in the background?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can choose whether you actively contribute or simply listen/pick up tips/learn from and about other businesses. 
Some remote workers or small business owners may find it helpful to have the event running in the background as they work. It may make a change from isolated working.
