The aims of this presentation are to enable you to: •

• Explore non-verbal ways of communicating with children
• Understand the importance of effective support for learning
• Explore key approaches to supporting children’s learning behaviour
• Learn how to help children develop communication skills & emotional awareness

Wired4Autism was established to offer specialised autism-specific training for parents, carers and frontline staff in the health, educational and social care sectors. I also offer pre- or post-diagnostic autism needs assessments to adults or children to assist them with obtaining the appropriate education or care provision.

Wired 4 Autism provides autistic-led training and development programmes and professional 1:1 advice and support. I am a NAS -trained speaker, trainer, autism needs assessor, writer and advocate. I have 14 years’ professional experience in health and social care, and offer a unique insight into the needs of autistic individuals as an “expert by experience, ” being an autistic individual, parent, carer and professional
