A Free or Pay-by-Donation Online Training

We invite you to a two-hour online training that provides a comprehensive introduction to our new Wisdom of the Body training, launching in September.

Thursday 14th August 6:30 – 8:30 pm (UK) * 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm CDT | Online via Zoom - Free or Pay-by-Donation

Join us for this practical and gently empowering introduction to the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) and its role in everyday life. You’ll learn how your nervous system responds to stress, safety, and connection—and how to work with it rather than against it.

Grounded in current trauma theory and informed by global majority and Western neuroscience perspectives, this workshop offers an accessible mix of theory, reflection, and experiential learning. No prior knowledge required. We’ll explore:– The three main states of the ANS (ventral vagal, sympathetic, dorsal vagal)– Why “fight, flight, freeze” isn’t the full story– How your nervous system shapes perception, relationships, and resilience.

You’ll be guided through short, practical somatic tools to support your self-care. This session is a stand-alone learning space and also offers a taste of our upcoming Wisdom of the Body training. Whether you’re new to embodiment or a seasoned practitioner, we’d love to share with you.
