The Wired Sussex Breakfast Sessions share best practice on subjects ranging from marketing and branding, to intellectual property and investment opportunities. And there’s coffee and croissants too. What’s not to like?
Are you a freelancer and want to know how to improve your marketing, discuss how much to charge, find new clients (or chase slow-paying ones)? Bring your issues and questions to this session and learn from your freelancer peers and experts.
We will be joined by:
Richard Nash, otherwise known as Mr Biscuit. Richard has combined his technical and creative expertise to offer a one-stop, super-fused approach to branding, illustration and graphic design. He has been working with local digital agencies for brands such as Nespresso, Barclays, Google, Volkswagen, Rolls Royce and British Petroleum.
Charlotte Ricca-Smith has been working with words for around two decades. She started as a print journalist (online didn’t exist back then…) writing for leading magazines and newspapers, such as The Guardian, The Independent, Men’s Health, Marie Claire and many more.
She has also worked with major brands including Virgin, American Express, TDK and Samsung, producing marketing material for a number of their key campaigns. As journalism has evolved, so has Charlotte and she recently set up a new company, providing online content for a number of big businesses.
Jim Callender has been a Brighton based Web Developer since 2005. He has worked for a number of well-known brands either onsite as a freelancer, or with his own business offering full design and development services at Callender Creates. Most recent clients include - News UK, Groupon UK, Kaplan, Toyota GB and The White Company, as well as most of the digital agencies in Brighton. He has a passion for well written code, performance and future-proofed websites.
