Mike started Bozboz, a Creative Digital Agency, 8 years ago. He has successfully grown the company into one of Brighton’s most exciting places to work, having hired 30+ (happy) employees. Mike will talk about how they designed Bozboz’s office space and sustain a nurturing, fun environment to work in.
Carlos is co-founder of the Happy Startup School, an organisation on a mission to help a new breed of entrepreneur to act with purpose and realise their dreams. They want to help startups that put people first and measure success in terms of happiness, as well as profits.
Carlos has followed an eclectic and non-conventional career path. He wanted to be a space explorer, tried his hand at being a physicist, found his first serious job at a party in Soho and then ended starting a company with one of his oldest friends, Laurence. The latest installment in this story is that Carlos and Laurence closed down the startup studio business they had been running for 11 years to focus on their own startup, the Happy Startup School.
