Event Information
Description
The Wired Sussex Breakfast Sessions share best practice on subjects ranging from marketing and branding to intellectual property and investment opportunities. And there’s coffee and croissants too. What’s not to like?
At this Breakfast Session, we'll be looking at why digital and creative businesses should work with charities, the various benefits it can have - from PR and brand building to boosting employee morale - and how to go about finding and developing successful collaborations within the charity sector.
So, whether you’re looking to get involved with the charity sector for the first time or you’re already doing your bit but want to expand your scope, this event will give you practical advice and fresh ideas.
Helping to lead the session will be:
Stuart Davies, Head of Agency at Creative Bloom
Passionate about environmental issues and fighting for good causes, Stuart leads Creative Bloom, a digital marketing consultancy and training provider specialising in supporting ethical and green sectors.
David Scurr, Project Manager, Citizens Online / Founder of Tech for Good Brighton
David currently runs ‘Digital Brighton & Hove’, a cross-sector network of over 200 local organisations collaborating to create a more inclusive and connected city. As part of this work, he also leads the local Tech4Good initiative which brings together all those interested in using digital as a force for good.
Laura Williams, Partnership and Development Manager at Community Works
Laura’s job is to connect people and businesses with voluntary and community organisations in Brighton, Hove, Adur and Worthing. Community Works aims to ensure that voluntary and community organisations have the support and platform they need to make a difference.
The session will then be followed by a Q+A where you can ask any specific questions you may have, as well as an informal discussion and a chance for networking.
