Wired Sussex Breakfast Session: Winning the Right Clients
Thu 9 February 2017, 09:00 – 11:00 GMT
The Wired Sussex Breakfast Sessions share best practice on subjects ranging from marketing and branding, to intellectual property and investment opportunities. And there’s coffee and croissants too. What’s not to like?
Looking to drive agency growth by improving how you win the right clients?
Adopting the principle of ‘marginal gains’, this session will explore all aspects of business development, from how you define your agency’s proposition through to growing an account, showing how small improvements at every stage can translate into a significant uplift in performance.
If you’re an agency owner, budding BDM or Account Manager, this session will provide tips and takeaways to help you up your game.
We’ll be joined by:
Ben Potter, new business mentor to aspiring agencies.
Ben was the Commercial Director at Brighton based digital agency, Leapfrogg, for almost fourteen years, amassing a huge amount of new business experience in that time.
A meticulous approach to lead generation, nurturing, qualifying, briefing and presenting saw the agency achieve an average win rate of 70%, including high profile brands such as Agent Provocateur, Dune London, Crabtree & Evelyn, Cath Kidston, Wolseley PLC, The Press Association and TUI.
Ben now helps aspiring agencies improve how they win and retain the right clients, his mission being to make the experience of buying and selling digital services better for all those involved.
Jacky has over 20 years' experience in business development, from MD of an award-winning sales and marketing company through to running her own business consultancy.
This has given her a great insight into the responsibilities and pressures of growing a business as well as how to recruit, motivate and retain the best people.
Jacky now works with a select group of high growth companies at board and team level to ensure they maintain a profitable client base and a high performing team. Sectors she has worked in include construction, retail, digital, software and manufacturing.
