Welcome to Wirral Code Club - Holiday sessions! Running every Thursday over the summer at Wallasey Central, 5pm til 6.

Over the Summer, you will have a chance to do all the normal fun projects, such as Scratch, Python, Microbit etc, as well as other fun activities like Banana Piano, Kinect2Scratch, Code A Drone and more.

Scratch is a block-based coding language perfect for kids ages 8 to 13 to learn coding basics while enjoying hands-on projects from the Raspberry Pi Foundation.

Microbit is an amazing micro controller board with lots of LEDS, sensors, inputs and outputs built in, that you can depoy code to.

Python is perfect for those who have mastered Scratch and are looking for something a bit more challenging. Python is one of the one of the world’s most popular programming languages to create digital art, interactive maps and models.

Our fantastic volunteers will be there to guide you through each project and offer help along the way to make sure you have a smooth, enjoyable experience.

You’re welcome to book as many sessions as you like - just please only register for the ones you can attend. Please cancel if you are unable to attend, in order to give the chance for another child to participate. Thank you!

We also encourage parents to stay and support their young coders as they work through the projects.
