Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life? —Mary Oliver.Wild and Wise gatherings have been designed for women who are seeking to re-claim their intuition and wild wisdom in a chaotic world. Whatever life cycle you are in, whether it is peri/post/menopause, early motherhood, pregnancy... this space is for you to pause, unwind, connect with nature and with other soulful women.Unlike a walking tour, my walking circles prioritize mindful, gentle walking, engaging with nature through meditation, ritual or contemplative exercises. Gentle breath and movement practices are also offered to help us connect with our bodies. No prior experience is necessary. Each session includes circle time in a secluded place in the woods, to allow for sharing and deeper conversation.

The walking circle is an inclusive and welcoming space open to all women regardless of age, ethnicity or background. Sharing is optional not obligatory.Brief session outline (though some activities may change depending on day's theme):

Frequently asked questions

Do I need prior experience in hiking?

No. The woodland walk is a gentle one, but some areas will be uneven or slippery or so walkers will be asked to wear appropriate shoes and walk with care to avoid falls.

Can I bring my baby?

Young babies are most welcome! The walk isn't suitable for buggies but mothers carrying their babies in slings or carriers can definitely join.

Are dogs permitted?

Our walks include quiet, contemplative moments and participation so unfortunately dogs aren't allowed.

How far will we walk?

The walk itself will not take up more than an hour, with breaks in the middle too.
