Women in Innovation: What can be done to extend collaboration & increase female participation?

Women and men are equally creative but women remain under-represented in many areas of innovation. What can be done to foster more inclusive innovation ecosystems in which both men and women thrive?

You will hear from WISE members with ideas on what they have done to encourage innovation in corporate research environments. The keynote talks will be followed by a round table discussion following World Café Rules. This event will conclude with a unique tour of the 3M Innovation Centre.

3M - Sarah Chapman, Technical Manager: Innovation Essentials: Curiosity and Collaboration

AWE - Jonathan Griffiths, Strategy Adviser: Innovation: Creating the Culture

Arm - Dr Daryl Bradley, Head of Patents: De-mystifying patents and recognising innovation beyond tech

University of Strathclyde - Dr Marisa Smith, Lecturer in Strategy and Innovation: The advantages of open-innovation and collaborative research

Kindly hosted by 3M, this knowledge sharing event is for Core level and above WISE members.Places are limited to two places per WISE member company/organisation, subject to availability.

Registration is at 9.30am for a 10am start. Lunch will be provided.

The nearest train station is Bracknell Station and is approximately 6-7 minutes drive by taxi. Free parking is available at the venue.
