This event will reflect on the opportunities and challenges associated with online qualitative interviewing. It will focus on themes in recent and current studies making use of information and communication technologies to collect qualitative interview data.

The overall aim is to offer some insights and reflects for researchers who may be required to switch from face to face to online interviewing due to Covid19; to further understanding and awareness of challenges and opportunities, strengths and limitation, of virtual qualitative research; to help researchers to make choices concerning the use of online/communication technologies to collect qualitative data.
