Wiston Faraway Festival

Welcome to the Faraway Festival - West Sussex's newest boutique micro-festival! Since Covid-19 began, Dusk & Duchy has consistently delivered safe and awesome Drive-In entertainment experiences across Sussex. This summer they bring their festival experience to the rolling green hills of Wiston Estate, celebrating the magic of live music, comedy and open air cinema.

The opening night on the 16th July is the PoshFlix night consisting of an open air cinema screening of the Great Gatsby with a jazz band before to give that 1920s feel! Bottomless Pimm's and Prosecco options will be available, while local food vendors will be dishing up a range of options from wood fired pizzas to Bentley farm hot dogs! Fancy dress is encouraged! The 17th July will be a day festival which will host live music and comedy throughout the day and into the night. We have a range of magnificent acts from an energetic 10 piece brass band (Spanky's Love Ensemble) to an electric light-up string duo (Halo Strings) transforming Ibiza club anthems, and many more acts - they'll be something for everyone throughout the day! On the comedy front, we have teamed up with Dinesh Nathan ('one to watch' - Fringe Review), Sean McLoughlin (best comedian you haven't heard of - Time Out - Ricky Gervais support act), Stephen Grant (Komedia headliner) all MC'ed by the great Dave Fensome (who leads the late-night comedy at Brighton Fringe).

No-frills camping is available on Friday and Saturday night or for the whole weekend. Water points are available around the site but we would recommend to bring the festival classic baby wipes.

Parking is available on site with a drop off location for those arriving by taxi. Public transport is not possible at our event due to its location. The entrance to the event is on the A283 close to Steyning and will be heavily signposted.

PoshFlix: Bronze £15 - Entry to the cinema with live music before.

PoshFlix: Silver £25 - Entry and bottomless popcorn and soft drinks.

PoshFlix: Gold £35 - Entry and bottomless Pimm's/Prosecco and popcorn.

Day festival: Live Music & Comedy: £35 - Entry to the event

Weekend Ticket + Camping: £75 - Includes a PoshFlix Gold ticket and entry into Faraway Festival. Includes first drink on the Saturday to heal the hangover.

Friday Camping: £10 per person

Saturday Camping: £10 per person

Weekend camping: £18 per person
