Organised by

30 years ago, Hattie gave up a career in teaching to follow her passion and retrain as a self-employed plumber.

Hattie has since established Stopcocks Women Plumbers, globally the first franchise dedicated to helping women quickly become successfully self-employed. Hattie says

'My dream in the UK is to enable any woman wishing to be a plumber to be one. There are ample opportunities within Stopcocks, for trained or qualified women plumbers and gas engineers to build strong businesses. These highly visible, successful women will become role models and mentors building the next generation'.

Following her decades of experience, Hattie feels it's high time for women working in the building trade to come together and celebrate.

Hattie, the organising team from Stopcocks Women Plumbers and Polypipe Building Products want to thank the sponsors who are supporting the achievements and inroads that are being made into such a historically male profession.
