Witching Hour Workshop: Make Your Own Besom Broom! - Ashtead Common
Overview
As autumn settles in and the veil between worlds grows thin, we invite you to explore the timeless craft of besom broom making.
Natural materials from the Common, carefully selected and provided, will be your tools as you learn traditional techniques to shape your own enchanted sweep.
Alongside the crafting, you’ll discover the folklore woven into the bristles—stories of protection, cleansing, and seasonal ritual that have travelled through time.
Whether you're drawn by woodland lore, the rhythm of the forest, or the quiet joy of working with nature, this hands-on workshop offers a moment of connection, creativity, and seasonal magic.
Your broom may ward off ill winds, grace your doorway, or simply remind you of the wild beauty of the woods.
- £20 per broom.
