About this event

Step into the mystery. Craft your own magickal tools. Listen for the whispers beneath the surface.

Join us at The Witch on the Wharf this Dark Moon for a full-day immersive experience where you’ll create your own set of 13 Witch’s Runes — powerful symbols used for spellwork, divination, and guidance in modern magick.

You’ll choose between wood or stone as your base, and bring your rune set to life using high-quality acrylic paint pens, with guidance on colour, intention, and energy as you paint.

Throughout the day, you’ll learn:– The meaning and origin of each of the 13 Witch’s Runes– How to cast and interpret them (including spreads and intuitive techniques)– Ways to use them in daily practice, ritual, and spellwork– How to build a relationship with your runes as living allies

You’ll also receive a beautiful printed rune guide to take home, and a velvet pouch to safely store your new rune set.

We’ll end the day in sacred space with a Dark Moon Rune Ritual — a candlelit blessing and charging ceremony, followed by a guided shamanic journey to meet the spirit of your runes. This will be your opportunity to receive messages, deepen your intuition, and energetically activate the tool you’ve crafted.

No experience is necessary. Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or just beginning your magickal journey, you are welcome here.
