Mark International Women’s Day by learning about the lives of women, rich and poor, linked to the General Cemetery. The walk starts at 1pm at The Gatehouse, Cemetery Avenue, S11 8NT, ending at the Samuel Worth Chapel pop up café which is open until 4pm.

Suggested minimum donation of £3 per person. Limited numbers so pre-booking is essential!

Dogs welcome - please ensure they are on a lead at all times.

Sensible footwear required, and please note that the Cemetery is located on a hillside with narrow paths.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No minimum age but the tour is aimed at adults and is more suitable for children aged over 11.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event ?

No need to bring your ticket - we shall have your name on a list and you can be checked in when you arrive.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

On street parking on and around Cemetery Avenue close to the Gatehouse entrance. Nearest bus stops are on Ecclesall Road - Collegiate Crescent stop.
