Description

We're delighted to announce two entertaining speakers on Monday April 15th.

The first is the writer, DJ and broadcaster Gary Crowley who started out on punk fanzines, joined the NME, became a DJ at Wag Club and then carved an eventful career on Capital Radio and music TV, XFM - with Ricky Gervais - and BBC London, interviewing Literally Anyone Of Any Note in the process (and introducing Oasis onstage at Knebworth). He's just compiled a terrific box-set of '80s pop curios which you can find out more about here.

And our second guest is the garrulous journalist Eamonn Forde who's published the dumbfounding tale of the 2007 takeover and decline of EMI and how the fall-out affected McCartney, Radiohead, Blur, Kate Bush, Pink Floyd and countless others. A defining 21st Century business fiasco gets the full colour treatment. Get your copy here.

Doors open at 7pm, ends about half nine, at the Islington pub in N1 as usual. Tickets here.
