Group learning is at the heart of the Worship: Leading & Preaching course. Normally, this is done in a local tutor group in your circuit or district. Sometimes, this is not possible. Explore Online provides an opportunity to do the Explore sessions of the course online.

Please note:

you still need a local Tutor to work with you on assessing your projects, and a Mentor to help you develop your practical skills.
you also need to have completed the self-study Learn material for the relevant modules before joining these Explore Online sessions. We do not teach material during the online sessions, but provide a facilitated conversation on some of the topics covered by the module.

Key Details

Sessions will be run on Friday evening (7pm – 9:00pm) and Saturday (9am – 3pm). Times are approximate and will be confirmed nearer the time. Breaks will be provided in the programme.
All three sections of a module will be covered during the weekend, and it is important that you attend all sessions during the event.
You will be expected to participate in conversation and keep your video on at all times, so that the whole group can participate fairly.
Note that at each online event, two modules will be provided, running at the same time. It is not possible to do both modules at a single event – you need to sign up for one module each time. The programme offered provides the opportunity to complete all eight modules over a two-year cycle.
