Event Details

Please come and join members of West Lancashire Wildlife for a series of monthly introductory events to help everyone to get involved in natural history recording and species identification.

Come and join us and learn in the best way possible by getting stuck into new activities linked the ‘Great Twin Pond Dig’ and other science studies supported by WLW volunteers. Whether you are an Edge Hill student or member of the public – everyone is welcome. Give your time and energy in return for a social/networking breakfast as well as a chance to learn new skills, meet new people and achieve something useful together! All the biological information we collect through these activities will go towards a current project.

Breakfast Club Dates

Each of the first three morning sessions are based at Edge Hill Unviersity and will commence at 9am with breakfast. An introduction to the morning’s topic will be provided between 9:15-9:45am whilst we nibble away! We will then get stuck into the activity until 12:15pm with a midway break and pack up and close for 12:30pm. Spaces are free to you but have been kindly supported by NFU Mutual, Edge Hill University and West Lancashire Wildlife to allow this . If you book onto a session please kindly respect that you are taking a place someone else could have had if you don’t turn up.
