Event description

About this Event

WMUK’s Patient-Doctor Summit is a popular and friendly annual event that brings together the Waldenström’s Macroglobulinemia community in the UK. It’s a unique collaboration between patients and doctors, providing information and support for people with this rare and complex blood cancer.

  • Join us for a relaxed, interactive and informative day of presentations, discussions and smaller sessions. We’ve designed the day to include something for everyone, whatever your level of knowledge or stage of WM.

  • Meet others who are affected by WM and share your experiences with people who understand WM.

  • Hear experts talk about new developments in WM and take the opportunity to ask them questions throughout the day.

  • This year, we have included a special session for carers to meet each other to share experiences and get support.

Our 2018 Summit brought together over 130 patients, carers and doctors.

“Makes you realise it’s not the end of the world."
