About this event
Woking Environment Action is a local group of volunteers committed to taking action on issues related to sustainability and climate change. We are arranging a series of events for Woking Great Big Green Week, due to take place between 18 - 26 September.
Great Big Green Week is an initiative organised by The Climate Coalition, to take place in the run up to COP 26. It will be the largest event for climate and nature ever seen in the UK. Thousands of events will celebrate how communities are taking action to tackle climate change and protect green spaces, and encourage others to get involved too.
This debate will form part of the week of events and look at the question, 'How can Woking be a national climate leader'. It will take place via Zoom webinar and will allow attendees to submit questions to the panellists via an online chat feature.

Bronwen Smith-Thomas, Senior Campaigns Manager at WWF-UK (Confirmed)
