Wokingham Support Group: Meditation with Tracy Ann Hughes
Date and time
Tracy will lead a meditation session with a focus on thoughts, training the mind, and working with stress.
About this event
Our monthly support meeting in Wokingham is on Wednesday 6th April 2022 at 7.00pm. Tracey Ann Hughes will lead a meditation session with a focus on:
- Thoughts – the monkey mind
- Training the mind – leading to transforming the mind
- Stress – how to work with it – not against it
Tracy's experience over many years has given her a balanced approach to teaching; she knows first-hand about loss, anxiety and depression, and recognises that there comes a time when an individual hits a brick wall and needs support, compassion and help. She is intuitive and sensitive with a love of all things with meaning.
Tracy was in one of the first groups to train with the British School of Meditation (BSoM) in 2012, passing with distinction and going on to teach meditation in Spain. She then spent time at a Buddhist monastery before further studies which included completion of the Mindfulness Now programme at Oxford College.

After the session there will be time for refreshments and a chat.
Numbers will be limited to a maximum of 20 people, so booking is essential if you wish to come along. As always, the meetings are completely free of charge and everyone is welcome. We aim to provide a safe and confidential environment where everyone is listened to and treated with respect.
