WOL Network Members: Tools for managing conflict with NCBI - online

In this workshop, led by NCBI Chief Executive Royston John, we will be working through important questions together, such as:

- Who are we and what are our different experiences?

- What are our biases and how does that feed conflicts?

- How do we manage conflicts when it arises?

NCBI offers training to recognise and avert unconscious bias, unfair prejudice and unreasonable discrimination.

In the session, we will offer some effective, peaceful strategies for change, advocacy and ally-ship. The experience will boost our awareness of others and increase our confidence to begin conversations with others.

The session will support us to become more effective at recognising and reducing inappropriate, harmful, discriminatory behaviours.
