Event description

Description

The University of Southampton is proud to be supported by the Wolfson Foundation and it’s provision of postgraduate scholarships in the Humanities. This half day symposium aims to bring together scholars from across the Arts and Humanities for an afternoon of research papers and training. As well as a dynamic selection of 15-minute presentations from Southampton's Wolfson Scholars, we will be hosting two bespoke advisory panels especially for Postgraduates and ECRs: 'Navigating Public Engagement and Impact in the Humanities' and 'Turning Your Thesis into a Book', in which expert academics will be on hand to share their experiences and answer your questions.

The event will be hosted at the University of Southampton, but scholars from other institutions are most welcome to attend, tickets are free and refreshments catering to a variety of dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free) will be provided throughout the afternoon. If you have other dietary requirements, or any access requirements, please email the organiser, Katie Holdway, at K.V.Holdway@soton.ac.uk.
