Wolverhampton Under 5s Autism Pathway Parent Session

Date: 25/09/2025

Time: 1.30 - 3.00pm

Location: Cherry Street SEND Hub (previously known as Brickkiln Community Centre)

Join us for our half-termly drop-in support sessions at Cherry Street SEND Hub (formerly Brickkiln Community Centre), designed specifically for parents and carers of children who have been accepted for assessment through the Wolverhampton Under 5s Autism Pathway.

These informal sessions are hosted by Rachel Wright (Specialist Teacher and Keyworker), who will be on hand to offer advice, answer questions, and provide a listening ear—alongside a cup of tea and biscuits.

As part of each session, Rachel will also lead a short, practical training segment focused on supporting challenges at home. Topics may include:

  • Understanding and responding to sensory needs
  • Strategies for emotion regulation
  • Using visual supports and other structured approaches
  • Supporting early interaction and communication skills

Whether you're seeking guidance, reassurance, or connection with other parents on a similar journey, these sessions are here for you.

Please note:These sessions are only open to parents/carers of children who have been accepted for assessment by the Under 5s Autism Panel in Wolverhampton.Unfortunately, we are unable to provide childcare, and the sessions are not suitable for children to attend.
