We invite you to join us in creating a mandala from fabrics and natural materials. Within this space we will guide you through visualization and meditation to tune into the wisdom of your womb.
Why a mandala?
Mandalas have been used in various cultures for meditation, manifestation, and creating sacred space. The word is Sanskrit and means circle/totality/universe.
Why the womb?
Often we have a lot going on in our minds, which can leave us disconnected from other parts of the body. The hips especially can become tight in response to adrenaline, or loose sensation when we experience stress. Bringing out awareness down into this space can help us feel more emobodied and grounded.
Whether or not you physically have a womb, whether or not you have your cycle, this is a profound space in the body. It is a place of creative life force and manifestation. It can be a source of joy and sensuality. It can be a pathway into our deeper feelings and knowings.
What should I bring?
There is no need to bring anything. However, if you have leaves, crystals, fabrics, feathers you would like to contribute to the mandala or something sweet to share, they would be very welcome.
We also invite you to pay by donation. Suggested rate £3 to £6.
