We're launching Women in AI UK on 19 January 2022 with the fantastic support of Tabitha Goldstaub MBE, Chair of the UK Government's AI Council and Co-Founder of the global AI festival CognitionX
Women in AI, led by President Alessandra Sala has a bold ambition and purpose: To ensure no woman is left behind by the advancement of AI.
The UK is now joining the imperative global drive to ensure no woman is left behind by the advancement of AI with the launch of Women in AI UK, against the backdrop of AI set to accelerate further throughout 2022.
You'll hear about Women in AI UK, led by Kerry Sheehan, Rula Awad, Toju Duke Mandy Panesar and from Women in AI President Alessandra Sala, Director of Data and AI at Shutterstock on our ambition and how you can get involved.
You'll also hear about Tabitha Goldstaub's incredible journey into AI which has taken her to the top to advise the UK Government on its National AI Strategy and being awarded an MBE for Services to AI in the New Year's Honours 2022. Tabitah will discuss why women should gain awareness, understanding and know-how on AI to ensure they are not adversely impacted by the acceleration of AI and how to do that.
Sahil Jha, Scientist at Pfizer, will discuss his support to Women in AI and why women can't get left behind by one of the biggest advancements being witnessed by business, organisations, brands, governments and society in past decades.
