Key Note Speaker - Susan Francombe
With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry as both an Engineer and a Lawyer, Susan brings a wealth of expertise to her roles as an Adjudicator and Consultant. From small-scale domestic works to major infrastructure projects, she has served clients, consultants, contractors, and solicitors.
As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Susan has resolved hundreds of disputes since 2012, spanning construction adjudication to consumer and industry panel arbitrations. Actively engaged in promoting construction law and dispute resolution, she sits on various committees and is involved in Women in Adjudication and the Adjudication Society.
Additionally, as a Chartered Civil Engineer, Susan offers consultancy services across diverse projects, combining legal and engineering insights to advise on contractual matters. Recognised for her entertaining and informative speaking style, Susan enjoys presenting at various events, from after-dinner speeches to business conferences and training sessions.
