We are delighted to invite you to our Women In Football - Football Clubs Behind The Scenes; A Female Perspective in collaboration with Liverpool Football Club.

The panelists will explore different roles and opportunities at football clubs. We will hear personal stories, gain career insights to the various roles and gain advice from our esteemed panel.

Our host on the night will be Caroline Barker, WiF network member and British journalist and broadcaster who works in Radio. She currently presents mainly for BBC Radio 5 Live.

We are pleased to announce our panel include:

Rachel Brown Finnis, former LFC goalkeeper

Brown-Finnis, has made 82 appearances for England since her debut aged 16 against Germany in 1997. She played in the Euro 2009 Final against Germany, the 2005 Euros and played at two World Cups. In 2007, she was selected to be part of a FIFA All-Star team that played an exhibition match against World Cup hosts China. She was also part of the Team GB squad at the London 2012 Olympics.

Colin Bridgford CEO of Manchester County FA

Chief Executive Officer at Manchester County FA, proud to be responsible for the development and governance of football within Greater Manchester. Leading change, developing the business and recruiting, managing and mentoring talented people. Maintaining close working relationships with Regional and National Managers at The Football Association and showcasing Manchester is an enjoyable position. Motivated by members of my Board of Directors, executives within our professional clubs, but inspired most by those who volunteer within the grassroots game.

Susan Black (Director of Communications Liverpool Football Club)

Susan joined Liverpool FC in 2011 and is the Director of Communications. She has over 20 years’ experience in the telecommunications, technology and global management consultancy sectors. She is a member of LFC’s executive team and is responsible for club wide strategic communications, issues and reputation management, media affairs, PR and employee communications.

Siobhan Chamberlain (LFC player, WWC 2015)

Siobhan is a vastly experienced goalkeeper who has also previously played for Chelsea Ladies, Fulham Ladies and Bristol Academy. Siobhan also appeared for England in the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup as she was introduced as a second half substitute in the quarter-final victory against host nation Canada.

Nicola Palios (Vice Chair Tranmere Rovers)

Nicola served as Chief Executive Officer of Mourant Group from 2003 to 2010. Nicola is a lawyer who joined Mourant Group as a Partner in 1995. She serves as a Non-Executive Director of Sanne Group plc. and she serves as an Executive Director of Tranmere Rovers FC
