Event Details

This workshop will give you a taster of the Department’s Psychology at the Movies initiative.

The aim of the workshop is to provide an interactive forum to discuss the psychology of the ‘femme fatale’ character in films such as Gone Girl and Fatal Attraction.

Participants will also be introduced to the Bechdel test for evaluating gender bias in films and fiction.

Places are limited, and the workshop will run twice, starting at 2:00 pm and 3:15 pm.

The facilitators will be:

  • Deborah Husbands, Visiting Lecturer, Department of Psychology
