>>>THIS EVENT IS STRICTLY WIP MEMBERS ONLY*<<<

Chinley - Hayfield - Birch Vale - New Mills

GRADE: MEDIUM

Distance: 12.5km

Max elevation: 454m

Total ascent: 406m

Welcome to Freshwalks and this special Women In Property private netwalking event in the Peak District. Our plan for this fabulous walk is to start the day in Chinley - which sits on the Hope Valley line between Manchester and Sheffield. We'll climb up towards Cracken Edge before dropping into the village of Hayfield for a pub lunch which is included in the ticket price. After lunch, we'll join the flat but scenic Sett Valley Trail back to New Mills (approx 3.30pm) where we'll head to The Shrub Club inside Torr Vale Mill for drinks to celebrate.

Walkers coming from Manchester can take the 09:42 train from Manchester Piccadilly to arrive in Chinley at 10:15. We also invite walkers to join us for a coffee or some breakfast at Carluccio's (upstairs inside the station) beforehand.

Walkers coming from Sheffield can take the 09:14 train to arrive in Chinley at 09:55.

The walk will start at 10:15.

Those driving should consider parking at New Mills and joining the morning train for one stop to Chinley. Much easier at the end of the walk. Don't forget, you will need to wear some appropriate footwear and clothing but we'll send out detailed information in the week before the walk.

Hope you can join us.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

An event pack will be sent out at least 72 hours before the walk. This should answer most things but feel free to email michael@freshwalks.co.uk with any questions you may have. If you've not received the pack by this time, check your email junk or spam and then contact us. Receiving this pack is essential as it includes important disclaimers and health and safety information.

What's the refund policy?

Please take a little look at our refund policy here:

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you're fine as you are. We keep track of the attendees and check you off on arrival. However, if you have a confirmation email saved onto your phone, this may be useful on the rare occasion that there are any issues.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

If you can no longer make it, please be sure to contact us with at least 24 hours notice. We try to be as accommodating as possible and understand that work commitments may pop up. Therefore, if you do need to transfer your ticket to a colleague, please contact us with their full details so we can organise the transfer in good time including the signing of the relevant legal disclaimers.
