Women in Recruitment Leadership: Confident Leadership
There just aren't enough female leaders in recruitment.
A lack of support, encouragement and perceptions around workload creates a challenging environment for female founders.
We observe that women are rarely heard at networking events.
They are often reluctant to chip in, or in the instances they do, they are talked over.
This means women in recruitment, in leadership roles, do not have the visibility, network and advice which enhance their careers via new knowledge, support, great role models and examples of women in leadership roles in the industry.
Women in Recruitment Leadership is here to change that.
Our goal is to focus on real-life examples of women succeeding, to provide a platform for voices otherwise unheard, and ultimately to equip other female leaders with the knowledge, tools and support needed as women in recruitment leadership.
Our first event features guest speaker, Kathy Brooke. Kathy is the founder of Kathy Brooke Coaching: passionate about helping individuals and teams thrive, she is a published author and podcaster. Speaking on the topic of "confident leadership", Kathy brings a wealth of knowledge and practical advice to the table. Following on from the title talk, there will then be structured discussion in small groups around key topics raised.

Tickets are free, with a charitable donation suggestion of £20 per ticket for the use of the room, kindly supplied by Castlefield Recruitment. The donation will be used to support Catslefield Recruitment's charitable efforts, with two of the team undertaking a 100-mile walk in the Sahara to raise money for mobile cancer units; find out more about their mission here.
