Ahead of International Women’s Day, the National Space Academy and National Space Centre are hosting a networking lunch for women in the space sector. This event is co-hosted by Women in Aerospace Europe UK (WIA-E UK) and supported by the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Campaign.

The event includes presentations from key women in the space industry with the opportunity for questions, followed by table discussions on the key barriers and solutions to improving the representation of women in the space sector. Lunch will be provided.

We are delighted to announce that we will be joined by a special guest of honour, who will spend some time meeting attendees as part of her visit to the National Space Centre.

FAQs

Registration through Eventbrite is only open to women working in the space / aerospace sector, or supporting industries.
Participation is funded by the National Space Centre, however, due to the nature of the event and the low number of places available, an invoice for £75 will be sent to anybody not attending on the day.
Lunch is included. Any dietary requirements should be highlighted during the registration process.
The event does not include entry to the Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium, or the rest of the Centre.
Travel, accommodation and other expenses to attend are the responsibility of the participant.
