Welcome to Women in Tech York's June event!

Who are we?

We are a community of like-minded people studying, working or interested in technology. Our goal is to run events in which we can share our knowledge and interests as well as encourage and empower one another. This event is not exclusive to women; we welcome anyone passionate about tech and increasing diversity in the field.

We also welcome all students who are interested in learning more about Tech, and the careers it entails.

This month...

We're celebrating 4 years of Women in Tech York! Note that this month we'll be partying at North South cafe bar on Bootham, where there'll be free welcome drinks whilst we network.

As always, there will be a free buffet (vegetarian and vegan options available) thanks to our sponsors Isotoma and Netsells.

20:30: Event close

FAQS

What safety measures are in place?

• We are limiting the number of in person tickets so we can all keep a comfortable distance
• We encourage you to use the hand sanitiser provided
• We'll have stickers which indicate your comfort level (from "happy to high five" to "keeping my distance from others")
• As we are eating and drinking we do not require masks, but obviously you are welcome to wear one if you would feel more comfortable doing so

The short version of our code of conduct is be respectful. Everyone here is part of our community. We do not tolerate any form of harassment or abuse.
