Sally Brett, Head of Equalities at the British Medical Association, and former Senior Equalities Policy Officer of the Trades Union Congress, reflects on the progress that has been made on gender equality in organisations over the past generation and considers the ongoing challenges facing women in the labour market.

This talk is aimed at anyone interested in debates around gender equality in organisations, the gender pay gap, women’s career progression and specific challenges for women in medicine.

The event is sponsored by Salford Business School at Salford University's MediaCityUK campus together with the Work and Equalities Institute (WEI) at Alliance Manchester Business School.
