Jazz saysGood relationship management is built on a solid foundation of emotional Intelligence. These skills help increase the quality of your interactions and boost your productivity by enabling you to manage yourself better. It is now widely accepted that emotional intelligence is as critical, if not more important than, logical intelligence in determining an individuals success. Emotional intelligence covers a wide spectrum of skills, traits, mentalities and codes of life.

This training counts towards CPD.

Anna Hemmings MBE: two time Olympian, six times world champion

With 11 World and European medals, Annais Britains most successful female kayaker. She has persevered and succeeded despite the odds, and achieved when others said she couldnt. She is a real inspiration whose experiences and triumphs will resonate with many of the conference delegates.

“I’ll be telling the tale my of triumph over adversity; the challenges I’ve faced and the strategies I’ve developed to overcome them.

I hope a lot of the women plumbers at the WIT Conference will identify with and get practical inspiration from my story”. https://www.annahemmings.com

Famous For Five Minutes

Delegates with interesting stories and experiences from their lives as women plumbers and gas engineers will be invited speak.

Hattie Hasan: founder of Stopcocks When Plumbers. Speaking on: Destiny and Creating your Own.

Hattie says “Believe it or not, we are all creating our own destinies anyway. It’s up to each of us to believe we can create the destiny we want and find a way to do it.”

Hattie left her successful and secure teaching career to train as a plumber.

She had bills to pay, so when none of the 600 companies she approached even got back about her job enquiry, she employed herself and became the first Stopcocks Woman Plumber.

Hattie built a very successful business, and almost 30 years later customers won’t let her retire. As her success grew, so did the numbers of women contacting her asking for guidance and help to become plumbers. Realising she couldn't transform the whole industry alone, she began to create an ‘army of women plumbers’ starting with Stopcocks Women Plumbers, still the only national company or franchise of women plumbers anywhere.
