Launch of Women Leading in Education Network Yorkshire & Humber
25th March 2017
Our vision is to empower, develop and connect current and future leaders to redress the gender inequalities in leadership across all sectors of education. We will promote potential, build authentic leadership and celebrate achievements of women leaders to inspire future generations. We believe that positive challenges come from being in a like-minded regional network.
The aim of the network is to develop a visible network to provide support, professional development and opportunities to connect with likeminded women leaders. We want a network that is able to design new ways of working, at a systemic and individual level, in order to unlock potential talent and maximise exist- ing talent. A network that will link with subregional, regional, national and global women’s networks for the advancement of women everywhere.
Join us for this launch conference to:
...be inspired by our keynote speakers: Dr Debra Kidd author and teacher; Sue Jefferson author of 'Boardroom ready women' and Jane Acklam OBE, Executive Principal and CEO at Moor End Academies Trust.
...contribute to and help shape a high impact network for you and your fellow women in education.
...#Be Bold For Change
... network with other women leaders
Refreshments will be available from 0930 and the conference will close with lunch at 1230 with opportunites to network.
We look forward to seeing you on 25th March, please encourage your fellow women educators to register for the conference.
