We are delighted that most of our original speakers are able to join us for the evening: Miss Gillian Cribb, Consultant Orthopaedic and Oncological Surgeon at Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital; Dr Annabel Makan, Consultant Respiratory Physician and RCP Tutor at Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust; Dr Sophie Shapter, Consultant Anaesthetist at RJAH Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust; Dr Alice O’Connor, Consultant in Palliative Medicine at Severn Hospice, Shropshire Telford & Wrekin and a Shrewsbury High alumna; Dr Evelyn Evans, Core Training Doctor Psychiatry at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Trust.

The evening will be chaired by SHS Headteacher Jo Sharrock and will take the form of short presentations by each speaker and then an interactive question and answer session.

This will be an online event and is open to the public and we would encourage all students in Year 8 and above with an interest in Medicine in joining us for the evening.
