An exciting evening of stories and poetry from three young writers who have made Scotland their home.
Giada Gaslini, Events Organiser born in Milan-Italy joined a nonprofit book project last year with other 33 Italian women to talk about their lives in their new home countries around the world. “Women moving abroad” is rich in all the emotions, opportunities and challenges that being an Expat means.
Theresa Muñoz born in Vancouver-Canada, has a PhD in Scottish Literature and works as a university tutor in Edinburgh. Her debut collection “Settle” was previously shortlisted for the Melita Hume Prize. This collection explores the experiences the writer and her family have had with emigration.
Annie Higgen is a German poet and sound artist. She studied musicology in Hamburg before completing an MA in Poetic Practice at Royal Holloway, University of London. She is now living and working in Glasgow where she presented her work at festivals and exhibitions, and published her poems in journals and magazines.
