After many weeks of planning, Women of Colour is super excited to host a two-part series of DJ workshops.
Living in the North, I’ve noticed a real lack of women of colour DJs. Even though many amazing women DJs are emerging in the North, we still need more women of colour behind the decks. That’s why we’re putting together this mini series to inspire more WOC and non-binary POC to get into DJing.
Our first session will take place on 20th November, led by Sophie and Matcha—two incredible DJs who are paving the way for women DJs in the North and have made a big name for themselves.
Our second session will be run by Fox Gluv Club, a collective supporting underrepresented creatives in the South of Ireland.
Tickets are super affordable and open to all women and non-binary people interested in learning to DJ. The first two hours will be a hands-on workshop, followed by a mini party featuring sets by our fab teachers.
