The Women of Colour Brighton group is a vibrant and growing network of over 1500 members in Brighton and beyond, run by passionate volunteers. Our lively private Facebook group is the go-to place for sharing resources and job opportunities. We are an amazing mix of women, from those new to Brighton to professionals like lawyers, CEOs, business owners, students, DJs, therapists, poets, and performers. We welcome mums, younger people and elders. Our group can signpost you to info on family events, women’s health, refugee support and much more. We want to support you.
We meet monthly to support, inspire, and connect on the last Monday of the month from 7pm at the Actors Brighton. If you’re a Black, brown, Asian, Arab, Mixed or Indigenous woman*, you’re in!
Every year, we throw a free Self-Love Festival for women of colour only. Expect amazing food, yoga, singing, dancing, poetry workshops and much more! all led by our members. Join our community and feel the love!
