Join local social historian Adam Wood for a 90 minute walking tour around Coventry, visiting locations connected to twenty of the city's most celebrated and extraordinary women.

The tour starts by the James Starley Memorial by Greyfriars Green, and ends by the Godiva statute in Broadgate. It is a total of 1.5 miles, and takes two hours at a leisurely pace.

Adam Wood is an author, speaker and walking tour guide specialising in historic true crime and policing.

​He is the author of a number of books, and for more than twenty years was Executive Editor of Ripperologist magazine, the leading publication dedicated to the serious study of the Whitechapel murders by 'Jack the Ripper' and their place in social history. From 2017 to 2021 he was Editor of the Journal of the Police History Society. In 2023 Adam launched a new magazine, Crime Through Time.

​He has spoken at numerous true crime and police history podcasts and conferences, and reguarly acts as a consultant for television documentary, film and radio producers.
