Women on Water Festival 2024 - Royal North of Ireland Yacht Club

The WOW festival is an opportunity for women to try a variety of different activities on the water within a supportive environment and a chance to meet new friends whilst developing your skills. This is an open entry festival which welcomes all women who may be new to the sport or may have tried it before but would like to build some more confidence on the water, and top level sailors who have travelled the world! All are invited who have a love of nature to this fantastic festival to gain more boating skills and to share your stories with others. It is not required that you have completed a WOW programme previously but are interested in learning more about boating.

Activities scheduled include;

- Dinghy sailing

- Keelboat sailing

- Powerboating

No experience needed, it is a day for learning and socialising. This will be an adult event. Buoyancy Aids will be provided if you don't have your own, more details will be sent to participants when the tickets close for the event.

Price includes activities, goodies, lunch and most importantly a chance to catch up with others and have lots of fun.

Please book your ticket in advance to avoid disappointment, tickets will close on the Sunday 5th of May, to enable the sailing club, event organisers and volunteers to prepare for the event.

Notes:

• All activities will run within the clubs safety operating procedures and guidance.
• Additional registration and preparation may be necessary and will be detailed in advance.
• Should there be a case of bad weather the event will be cancelled and participants will receive a refund.

Applied to wow festival - Cancellation of a booking notified in writing or email (ryani@rya.org.uk) to the RYA Northern Ireland Office, at least seven days before the date of the event to receive a refund. Eventbrite will take a 8 / 10 percent booking fee.
